Job summary

Gastro Health in Framingham, MA is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join our new in-office endoscopy suite on a per diem basis. The role involves preparing rooms, assisting physicians and nurses, monitoring patients, and maintaining endoscopy equipment according to infection prevention standards.

Entry-level training is provided; GI experience is a plus. This on-site position supports a growing practice with a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Entry-level training will be provided for the right candidate.
• GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians and nursing staff before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patient needs during procedures and report concerns to RN/Manager.
• Disinfect, inspect, and maintain endoscopy equipment per infection prevention standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot endoscopy and patient monitoring equipment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Complete required documentation and endoscopy records.
• Communicate safety concerns and participate in quality initiatives.
