Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring an Endoscopy Technician to support GI and endoscopy procedures. You will prepare rooms and equipment, assist during procedures, and maintain sterile, well-organized environments to safeguard patients and staff.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, instrument handling, specimen collection, and meticulous documentation. A compassionate approach and adherence to safety standards are essential in delivering high-quality care

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized
• Positioning and transporting patients safely and comfortably
• Assisting physicians and nurses during procedures, handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following safety practices
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety
• Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, maintaining privacy and comfort
