Job summary
UC Health is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Technician for the first shift at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of patient care experience, preferably in endoscopy or surgical services. Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of patient care experience.
Preferred: experience in endoscopy or surgical services.
Responsibilities
Engages in population-appropriate communication and gives clear instructions to patients/family.
Recognizes and responds appropriately to patients/families with behavioral health problems.
Performs clinical procedures only under RN supervision, with demonstrated competency.
Obtains vital signs, including pulse oximetry where applicable.
Cleans and maintains equipment, performs leak tests, and follows manufacturer QA.
Assists with patient transport and ensures unit safety.
Supports infection-control protocols and universal precautions.
