The Elliot Hospital’s Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center in Manchester, NH seeks an Endoscopy Support Technician to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, manage room turnover, and ensure sterile processing compliance. The role emphasizes patient-focused care and adherence to safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, NH Medical Technician Certification, and BLS, with preferred CNA or Surgical Tech Endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Technician Certification from NH required.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant or Surgical Technician with Endoscopy experience preferred.
• Adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates throughput during admission, procedural, and recovery phases.
• Assists under physician supervision with endoscopy-related procedures and duties.
• Responsible for turnover of procedure rooms and admission/recovery areas.
• Maintains cleaning processes for scopes and documents processing.
• Maintains supplies and equipment, monitors shelf life and readiness.
• Returns endoscopes to storage and oversees transport to Sterile Processing.
