Baystate Health seeks an Endoscopy Technician for Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA. The role supports endoscopy procedures under RN/physician supervision and provides hands-on clinical and technical skills development in a gastroenterology setting.

The position emphasizes assisting with patient care, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while contributing to efficient endoscopy workflows and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate reading and mathematics aptitude.
• Must successfully complete the orientation program.
• Must be capable of following detailed instructions, prioritizing multiple activities, and working effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN and physician with patient care and collect vital signs.
• Support physicians and RNs during endoscopy procedures and follow the care plan.
• Prepare patients for procedures and administer routine enemas as directed.
• Maintain endoscopy rooms, equipment, and supplies; restock and disinfect equipment as required.
• Provide room turnover and technical support to maintain a safe endoscopy environment.
• Complete documentation and administrative tasks while complying with standards.
