St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® in New York invites an Endoscopy Technician to join its skilled team. You will set up, sterilize, and troubleshoot endoscopes, assist physicians and nurses during procedures, and help ensure patient safety and comfort during GI assessments.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, CET certification, and BLS from American Heart Association. 1–2 years in healthcare preferred; be able to stand long hours and follow infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1–2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Infection control knowledge and ability to stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

The Endoscopy Technician prepares, maintains, and operates specialized equipment while assisting physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Set up, sterilize, and troubleshoot endoscopes

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET)REQUIRED credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association

• Experience-1–2 years in healthcare preferred
• Must know infection control, medical terminology, and have the physical stamina to stand for long periods

Schedule:

Variable shifts, including required evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call hours.
