Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician (PRN‑Days) to support procedure workflows. You will prepare rooms and equipment, gather endoscopes, light sources, and video monitors, and confirm device functionality.

During procedures you assist physicians and nurses, monitor patients, and after procedures you sterilize gear using approved cleaners and machines to prevent infections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant course, two years of nursing school, or equivalent education.
• At least one year of experience as an Endoscopy tech/assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and equipment for endoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician (PRN‑Days). The Endoscopy Technician will prepare rooms and equipment for endoscopy procedures, gather necessary tools such as endoscopes, light sources, and video monitors, confirm equipment functionality, assist doctors and nurses during procedures, monitor patients, and, after procedures, clean and sterilize all gear. The incumbent will use special cleaners and machines to kill germs, following strict rules to prevent infections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education
• At least one year, preferably more, experience as an Endoscopy tech/assistant
