Universal Health Services is seeking an Endoscopy Technician full-time, Mon-Fri with 30-35 hours per week and on-call duties at Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina.
The role supports physicians during Endoscopy procedures, maintains equipment, and ensures patient safety, post-procedure prep, and discharge readiness. 1-2 years hospital experience and BLS certification preferred.

Endo Tech is under the supervision of a registered nurse, provides patient care through assisting the physician with Endoscopy and other minor procedures. Provides the appropriate supplies and equipment during Endoscopy Lab procedures and assists the RN in the recovery/prep area, as needed. Performs a variety of non-nursing functions associated with operation and maintenance of an efficient Endoscopy Laboratory including cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Duties:
Decontaminates and processes instruments and equipment according to department policy.

Requirements:
High School Graduate.
1 - 2 years experience in an acute care hospital, preferred. Basic medical terminology required.
Current BLS certification. GTS (GI Technical Specialist) certification preferred. Graduate of an Operating Room Technician course or equivalent on-the-job training preferred.
