Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking a patient-focused nursing assistant or licensed practical nurse to support physicians and patients in a hospital setting. The role involves assisting with prescribed medical treatments and personal care, supporting the nursing team, and working varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.

Qualifications

High School Education or equivalent preferred.
Active CNA registry or LPN license in state of practice preferred.
Approved CPR certification required within 90 days (Other certification per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)

Responsibilities

Serves as resource person for Endoscopy equipment used.
Evaluates new equipment, orders and restocks supplies.
Does periodic check of schedule for specific supplies, requests by physicians/Lead RN.
Works with Materials to stay within contact to control costs.
Independently assists physician procedures in general GI and interventional GI cases.
Communicates with appropriate departments concerning equipment problems.
Participates in Quality Management program, standards, policies and procedures.

Overview

Education and Experience

Certification and Licensure
