Gulf Comprehensive Surgery Center is looking for a Per Diem Endoscopy Technician to assist in various endoscopic procedures. This role involves working under the supervision of surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of care and cleanliness.
As a vital team member, you will contribute to patient flow, support surgical staff, and manage instrumentation effectively.
Welcome to Gulf Comprehensive Surgery Center. Gulf Comprehensive Surgery Center is an advanced technology Endoscopy Suite specializing in the examination of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract.
Procedures are done in a comfortable outpatient setting, designed with high quality of care, safety and patient privacy and convenience in mind.
The GI technician/Endoscopy functions under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation. Other GI technician responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.
