Job summary

USPI Gastro Consultants of San Antonio - Medical Center is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Tech to join our team. You will maintain all endoscope equipment in a safe, efficient manner and support outpatient GI procedures in a fast-paced ASC.

Position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, or on-call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule varies with the surgical calendar.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum one year of direct duties related to this role.
• Medical Assistant or CNA or Patient Care Technician training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant cares for endoscope equipment in accordance with OSHA, SGNA, and guidelines.
• Maintains infection control to promote quality patient care.
• Reports to Charge Nurse and ASC Director.
