Job summary

USPI Kingwood Endoscopy Center in Houston is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Tech to join our fast-paced ASC team. Weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or on-call responsibilities—with occasional later evenings as needed.

You will assist the endoscopy team during procedures, prepare patient positioning, and manage sterile setup and supply distribution. The Endo Tech provides equipment and supplies, maintains inventory, and supports patient flow under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and ASC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Operating Room experience required.
• 2+ years’ experience in an established endoscopy center.
• Working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures.
• Certified MA or Endo tech certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopy team during procedures.
• Arrange and inventory sterile setup for operations.
• Pass items as needed to the endoscopy team.
• Assist in preparing and moving patients and cleaning the endoscopy room.
• Provide centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain and track inventory according to facility procedures.
• Report to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.

Some later evenings required.

Job Summary:

The Endo Tech assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.
