Job summary

USPI Gastro Consultants of San Antonio - Medical Center is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Tech to join our team. You will maintain all endoscope equipment in a safe, efficient manner and support outpatient GI procedures in a fast-paced ASC.

Position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, or on-call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule varies with the surgical calendar.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum one year of direct duties related to this role.
• Medical Assistant or CNA or Patient Care Technician training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant cares for endoscope equipment in accordance with OSHA, SGNA, and guidelines.
• Maintains infection control to promote quality patient care.
• Reports to Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

USPI Gastro Consultants of San Antonio - Medical Center

is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Tech to join our team. We have 1 OR room and 5 Procedure rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Job Summary: The Medical Assistant care maintains all endoscope equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to OSHA, SGNA, and manufacture guidelines. Maintain work environment in keeping with infection control guidelines to promote quality patient care. Functions within the philosophy, policies and procedures of the ASC and represents the practice within and outside the organization. Works cooperatively with all other staff members. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.
