Job summary

McKay-Dee Endoscopy Center is seeking an Endoscopy Assistant to prepare procedure rooms, assemble equipment, and assist physicians during Endoscopy procedures. You will handle biopsies with the care of the RN or MD, stock supplies, and coordinate routine equipment maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification. Candidates should be able to communicate clearly, work with a health care team, and manage time in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles equipment and prepares procedure rooms before endoscopy.
• Assists physicians with Endoscopy procedures.
• Obtains, labels, and delivers biopsies or labs with RN or MD.
• Maintains and stocks endoscopy supplies.
• Coordinates maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment; notifies service when needed.
• Answers calls and relays information professionally.
