Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Endoscopy Lab Scope Reprocessing Technician who works under the supervision of the RN to deliver skilled reprocessing of endoscopes, operate reprocessing machines, and support patient care in ambulatory settings.

You will maintain a safe, clean environment, assist with procedures, and participate in quality improvements. Requires High school diploma and CPR; BS degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• CPR – Basic Life Support certification required.
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reprocess endoscopes and operate scope washers.
• Identify issues with endoscope integrity and assist with repairs.
• Document inventory and repair of endoscopes.
• Transport patients safely using wheelchair or stretcher.
• Support scheduling and maintain clean, safe environment.
