Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an Endoscopy Technician in the United States. The role involves assisting during endoscopy procedures, maintaining sterile supplies, and ensuring patient safety. You will support the endoscopy team, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, documenting hand‑offs, and maintaining instrument readiness. A high school diploma is required, GI tech experience preferred, and BCLS certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• GI Tech experience preferred
• BCLS certification within 90 days of employment or current certification

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assist during endoscopy procedures and protect patient from injury.
• Demonstrate safe operation of equipment and report unsafe situations.
• Provide hand‑off reports to teammates with accurate information.
• Maintain and troubleshoot endoscopy instruments; repair as needed.
• Prepare equipment and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Ensure scopes are prepared per policies and manufacturer instructions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
