Job summary

Austin Endoscopy Center North is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. You will prepare procedure rooms, assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, and ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of endoscopy equipment.

You will document accurately, support patient care, and uphold infection-control standards in a team‑oriented environment. Prior GI lab experience and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior endoscopy or GI lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and aseptic technique.
• Accurate documentation in EMR.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with patients and team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy suites, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures within defined scope of practice.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and instruments.
• Maintain accurate reprocessing logs and quality checks.
• Handle, label, and transport specimens according to policy.
• Position and transport patients safely; assist with preparation and recovery as directed.
