Job summary

Gateway Surgery Center is seeking an Endo Tech to assist the endoscopy team during procedures. You will arrange and inventory sterile setups, pass needed items, and help prepare and move patients while maintaining a clean endoscopy room.

You will also manage centralized supply distribution, ship/receive items, and track inventory according to facility procedures to support safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years experience in endoscopy preferred.
• Ability to work as a team and communicate directly and professionally.
• Flexible, reliable, productive, patient-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Portrays the facility in a positive light to others.
• Maintains professional conduct and appearance.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, physicians, and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures.
• Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation, and passes items as needed.
• Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room.
• Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility.
• In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.
