Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy role to support patient care during daytime procedures. You will review histories, position patients, and prep sites to ensure safe, efficient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires BLS certification within 30 days and relevant education; you will monitor patients, report findings, and maintain equipment and supplies, with opportunities for professional growth within Ascension.

Qualifications

• Certification: BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire.
• Relevant healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
• Interpret, describe and report test results. Recognize recording errors and artifacts and react appropriately.
• Monitor patients prior to, during and after procedures and promptly report any abnormal findings in the patient's condition.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies and lab area.
