Job summary

HealthPartners seeks an Endo Tech to support nursing staff in delivering patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include pre/post procedure care, patient transport, vital signs, and assisting endoscopy procedures in a fast-paced setting in Minnesota.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and nursing assistant experience or CNA training. On-call weekend coverage is required as part of a 0.8 FTE schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
• Nursing Assistant experience or CNA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to discharge and to room and assist with transport.
• Assist with pre/post procedure care for endoscopy and surgery patients.
• Support chart prep and obtain necessary forms.
• Perform vital signs and monitor patient status under RN supervision.
• Connect/disconnect monitoring devices and assist with IV therapy as directed.
• Prepare and assist in endoscopy procedures (positioning, specimens, biopsy).
• Turn over and disinfect endoscopy rooms and set up procedure spaces.
• Pre-clean and clean scopes and maintain room turnover between patients.
