Responsabilidades

• Assembles equipment and supplies needed prior to procedures, sets up procedure rooms.
• Assists physicians with Endoscopy procedures.
• Assists with obtaining, labeling, and delivering biopsies or labs with the RN or MD.
• Helps maintain, order, and stock supplies for Endoscopy.
• Ensures specialized equipment and instruments are maintained; coordinates maintenance; notifies engineering for repairs.
• Answers calls and relays procedure-related information in a courteous, timely manner.
• May be required to dispose of medications per guidelines.
• May perform IV insertions if qualified.
