Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, TX, seeks an Endoscopy Technician with knowledge of anatomy and aseptic technique to support endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, assisting staff and surgeons, and joining on-call rotations.

Minimum 1 year endoscopy experience is preferred. BLS required; GI Technical Specialist certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Strong reading and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in aseptic technique and preparing procedure rooms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopic procedures and ensure instruments and supplies are available.
• Prepare room prior to endoscopic procedures and clean after.
• Take assigned on-call responsibilities as required.
