Job summary

Boston Medical Center - South is committed to delivering exceptional, personalized health care with dignity, compassion and respect. The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant during endoscopy procedures, supporting the Endoscopist and caring for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities include adapting to diverse patient needs, maintaining a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, and fulfilling on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained.
• Working knowledge of GI scopes and experience with GI physicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Endoscopist during endoscopy procedures.
• Address the needs of patients across all ages from infant to elderly.
• Accommodate impairments and language needs; uphold patient rights and ethics.
