Job summary

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Tech I to join the day shift. The role involves transporting patients, disinfecting and processing endoscopy equipment, and assisting in the procedure room under RN/physician supervision.

Prior sterile processing or patient care experience is preferred, with high school diploma required. The Endoscopy department handles a range of procedures and supports inpatient and outpatient clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior sterile processing experience or patient care experience preferred.
• Willingness to work day shift and possible 4-10s with late shifts.

Responsibilities

• Processes instruments and equipment and maintains inventory.
• Transports patients and assists with changing.
• Disinfects and processes endoscopy equipment.
• Trains staff in endoscopy instrument processing and equipment maintenance.
