Responsibilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of surgical sites.
• Practices aseptic technique.
• Assist in preparation of room prior to endoscopic procedures and cleaning after procedure.
• Assist staff and surgeons to ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are available when needed for endo procedures.
• Take assigned call as required.
• Demonstrate awareness of age-specific needs of patients from diverse psychosocial and cultural backgrounds.
