Responsibilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of surgical sites.

• Assist staff and surgeons to ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are available when needed for endo procedures.
• Take assigned call as required.
• Demonstrate awareness of age-specific needs of patients from diverse psychosocial and cultural backgrounds.

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Reading and numerical competency.

Minimum of 1 year endoscopy experience required.

BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.

As an Endo Tech, must complete the GI Technical Specialist (GTS) certification within 1 year.

Able to read and write on a 12th grade level. Basic computer skills. Requires the ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.
