Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained.
• Working knowledge of GI scopes and experience with GI physicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Endoscopist during endoscopy procedures.
• Address the needs of patients across all ages from infant to elderly.
• Accommodate impairments and language needs; uphold patient rights and ethics.

32 Hours, Days, On-Call Required (Eves/Nights, Weekends, Holidays), Part-Time, Benefit Eligible

Position Summary

The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant at the field, assisting the Endoscopist performing the endoscopy procedure on patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly.
• Customizes to a variety of needs specific to impairments, such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse.
• Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.
• On-call required

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Certification/Licensure: CPR
• Must have working knowledge with scopes in the upper and lower GI tact and experience working with GI Physician.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to perform as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, instilling a positive cohesive spirit to ensure customer satisfaction.

Compensation Range

$20.25- $30.10

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
