Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking an Endoscopic Technician to support GI procedures under RN supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes, assisting with biopsies and therapeutic techniques, and maintaining strict infection prevention standards.

The role requires a high school graduate, with CNA licensure in Florida preferred, and BLS certification or Endoscopic Tech certification preferred. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Florida CNA license preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Certified Endoscopic Technician preferred.
• GI lab experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during GI procedures under RN direction (biopsies, PEGs, ERCPs, EUS, etc).
• Manually clean and disinfect endoscopes used in GI and Pulmonary procedures.
• Maintain disinfectant solutions and monitor reprocessing quality.
• Document QA logs in decontamination room accurately and timely.
• Mentor and orient new staff; support infection prevention practices.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
