Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in Florida preferred.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Certified Endoscopic Tech through SGNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• GI Lab technician cleans and disinfects endoscopes used in GI Lab and Pulmonary procedures.
• Maintains disinfectant solutions and monitors quality of reprocessing procedures.
• Assists physicians during procedures under RN direction (biopsies, polypectomies, ERCPs, etc.).
• Documents decontamination room QI logs accurately and timely.
• Supports infection prevention and mentors new staff to ensure safe, efficient workflow.
