Job summary

Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Tech to join our Outpatient GI Center. You will render professional care to patients undergoing GI procedures and work closely with physicians and staff to prepare equipment and maintain the GI procedure area.

The position is full-time and weekdays only, with some evenings possible. Competitive salary and benefits are offered to the right candidate, emphasizing teamwork in a busy OR & GI lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical assistant certification.
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge of OR and GI policies and procedures.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly.
• Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy OR & GI lab environment.
• Must be able to function as a team player.
• Must be able to communicate and understand English.

Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated endoscopy tech to join our esteemed team. As an endoscopy tech, you will play a vital role in upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.

Endoscopy Tech at Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio

Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepares equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provides general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Oversees the GI procedures and maintains all aspects of the GI procedure area. Assessing patients prior to procedure. Document intra-procedure notes. Assist physician on all GI procedures. Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy. Assists in Preop and Recovery with turning over bays, discharging patients, basic patient assistance and stocking

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
