DigestiveCare, LLC is seeking a Full Time Endoscopy Tech to join our GI team. The role involves preparing equipment, assisting physicians during GI procedures, and maintaining the GI area, with patient assessment and post-procedure tasks.

Position is weekdays only with some evenings; no holidays or weekends. Competitive salary and benefits offered. Strong teamwork and customer service are essential in this ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as Medical Assistant, Vet Tech, CNA or PCT.
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI.
• Strong Customer Service Skills.
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly.
• Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment.
• Must be able to function as a team player.
• Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Assist in Preop and Recovery with turning over bays, discharging patients and stocking.

Endoscopy Tech at DigestiveCare, LLC

Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepares equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provides general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Oversees the GI procedures and maintains all aspects of the GI procedure area. Assessing patients prior to procedure. Document intra-procedure notes. Assist physician on all GI procedures. Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
