Job summary

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join the Endoscopy Service. This full-time role supports procedures, operates and disinfects equipment, and handles room turnover and supply stocking. Day shifts are 10 hours.

Under the supervision of the Endoscopy Nurse Manager, you may perform clerical tasks as needed and contribute to a patient-centered, safety-first environment, with emphasis on quality care for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• BLS - American Heart Association required on hire.
• GI/Endoscopy tech experience preferred.
• Surgical-OR tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures.
• Clean and disinfect endoscopy equipment.
• Prepare and turnover rooms between cases.
• Order and stock supplies for the Endoscopy Service.
• Report maintenance needs of equipment and devices.
• Perform clerical duties as needed.
