Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking an Endoscopy Tech II for a part-time position with 8-hour day shifts. The role supports medical, clinical and clerical staff in delivering high-quality patient care, with duties spanning assisting with endoscopic procedures and patient handling in the holding area.

The incumbent will act as a preceptor, participate in admissions/discharges, and uphold high standards of disinfection and patient safety under supervision of the Department

Qualifications

• Requires National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) at hire.
• Preferred: Gastrointestinal Technician Specialist Certification.
• Experience: 1 year Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the medical, clinical and clerical staff in patient care with high-quality technical skills.
• Act as a preceptor to others in the Endoscopy Technician II role.
• Assist with patient admission and discharge from the holding unit to ensure safety and quality care.
• Assist RN with endoscopic procedures for adults and pediatric patients in all hospital settings.
• Maintain high-level disinfection knowledge and practices.
