Job summary

Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for the Day shift (6:30am-3pm, Monday-Friday) with call requirements and BLS certification. The role supports physicians in the endoscopy suite and operating room settings, cleaning scopes, transporting patients, and providing setup assistance as part of a team.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and completion of an Endoscopy Technician Certification or one year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy Technician Certification or 1 year of equivalent healthcare experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of Endo experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with endoscopy procedures as assigned by a Registered Nurse delivering appropriate care to clients.
• Obtains and prepares supplies and instruments according to physician preferences; restocks supplies and maintains endoscopy rooms.
• Assists in scheduling and rescheduling of patients.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors and adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
