Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus Hospital in Glendale, AZ seeks an Endoscopy Support Nurse to assist in ambulatory care. You will prepare rooms, provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, and support physicians and team in endoscopy procedures.

You will maintain care standards, communicate changes in patient condition, and help ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment. A High School diploma and CPR are required; healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required CPR training.
• On-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a RN, evaluates outcomes, and adjusts nursing care as indicated.
• Prepares rooms and provides care in the ambulatory endoscopy setting.
• Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patient's condition.
• Assists with endoscopy procedures and ensures patient safety.
• Educates patient and family regarding care and pain management.
• Performs duties to maintain regulatory requirements and standards.
