Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Endoscopy nurse to assist physicians with procedural skills and interventions within scope of practice.

You will provide individualized patient care before, during, and after procedures, develop nursing care plans, prep operating rooms, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold AZ RN license and be registered to practice as a nurse in Arizona.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and critical care (surgical) background appreciated.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Endoscopy nurse you will assist physicians with procedural technical skills and interventions and any other assigned functions within the procedure as an extension of the physician and within scope of practice.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role you must have the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations.
