Arizona Advanced Endoscopy in Gilbert is hiring a GI/Endo Tech to support the operating room and patient care team. You will assist the Registered Nurse before, during, and after GI procedures, help prepare the pre-op area, monitor patients, and ensure documentation is complete.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or interest in healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of GI procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists Registered Nurse in preparing patients for procedures and post-op care.
• Checks pre/post op area for cleanliness and orderliness.
• Transports patients to and from procedure rooms.
• Takes vital signs and ensures key paperwork is on chart.
• Maintains supplies and equipment and restocks carts.
• Directs family members and includes them in post-op instructions.
• Coordinates patient transportation as needed.
• Participates in QAPI, Infection Control, and Safety Program.
