Job summary

Valley View hospital seeks an Endoscopy Tech experienced with complex procedures. You will assist providers during procedures, disinfect and process endoscopic equipment, and set up rooms for cases. You’ll also transport patients, stock rooms, and help with monitoring equipment per nursing staff directions.

The role requires BLS, at least 1 year of Endo Tech experience (training possible), and specific certifications with a rotating call schedule. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association with card in-hand.
• 1 year Endo Tech experience preferred; training available.
• Advanced Case Endo experience strongly preferred.
• Registered with DORA as Surgical Tech before start.
• GI Technical Specialist (GTS) advanced certification or within 6 months.
• CER Certification required within two years of hire.
• Rotating call availability required.
• Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting.
• Sets up room for procedures; transports patients as needed.
• Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; assists patient dressing and ambulation.
• Assists with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff and pulse oximetry before cases.
• Supports nursing staff and physicians during procedures.
