Job summary

Valley View in Glenwood Springs, CO, is seeking a full-time Endo Tech to assist in high-level, complex procedures. This position requires expertise in endoscopic equipment and will involve direct patient care responsibilities such as preparation and post-operative support.

Qualifications

• BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
• 1 year of Endo Tech experience is required.
• Advanced Case Endo experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be Registered with DORA as a Surgical Tech prior to starting.
• GI Technical Specialist (GTS) advanced certification issued by SGNA or needs to be obtained within 6 months.
• IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification obtained within two years of hire.
• Must be available to take rotating call.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and physician during procedures with efficient running of equipment.
• Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment.
• Set up rooms for procedures.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Stock rooms with supplies and equipment.
• Assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff.
• Apply EKG monitors, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to start of case.
