Job summary

Valley View hospital seeks an Endoscopy Tech experienced with complex procedures. You will assist providers during procedures, disinfect and process endoscopic equipment, and set up rooms for cases. You’ll also transport patients, stock rooms, and help with monitoring equipment per nursing staff directions.

The role requires BLS, at least 1 year of Endo Tech experience (training possible), and specific certifications with a rotating call schedule. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association with card in-hand.
• 1 year Endo Tech experience preferred; training available.
• Advanced Case Endo experience strongly preferred.
• Registered with DORA as Surgical Tech before start.
• GI Technical Specialist (GTS) advanced certification or within 6 months.
• CER Certification required within two years of hire.
• Rotating call availability required.
• Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Job description

Valley View hospital is seeking an Endo Tech that is experienced and can assist our Provider's with high level, complex cases.

As the Endoscopy Tech, you will assist nursing staff and physician during the procedure with efficient running of equipment related to the needs of the procedure. Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting of equipment; Sets up room for procedures; Transports patients as needed; Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; Assists patients with getting dressed and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; Assists with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff and pulse oximetry prior to start of case.

Full time - 40 hours/week; with call rotation.

Requirements

• BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
• 1 year of Endo Tech experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Advanced Case Endo experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be Registered with DORA as a Surgical Tech prior to starting.
• GI Technical Specialist (GTS) advanced certification issued by SGNA or needs to be obtained within 6 months.
• IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification obtained within two years of hire.
• Must be available to take rotating call.

PAY RANGE

• $23.88-$35.12/hour
• Starting wage dependent upon experience, education/certifications, and skill set
• $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
• $4.00/hou r night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
• $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
• Annual Bonuses based upon organizational and individual performance.
