Job summary

Wake Endoscopy Center in Cary, NC is seeking a Full-Time Endoscopy Technician to support safe patient care in a collaborative environment. You will prepare rooms and equipment, assist during procedures, and ensure proper cleaning and reprocessing of endoscopes.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and care teams to maintain patient flow, infection prevention, and high-quality standards throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1 year of Endoscopy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for endoscopy.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Assemble, test, and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, disinfected, and reprocessed per policy.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report changes to the RN.
• Follow infection prevention practices and PPE protocols.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Support room turnover and inventory management.
