Job summary

Mass General Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Surgical Tech Endoscopy to support the operating room. The role prepares the OR, sets up sterile supplies, transports patients, and assists the surgical team to ensure safety and efficiency.

The position offers a 40-hour week, shift schedule Mon-Fri, with one weekend every six weeks, on-site at 273 Charles Street, with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• CST NBSTSA certification preferred.
• Experience as a Surgical Technologist desirable.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for procedures.
• Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Transport and position patients safely for surgery.
• Pass instruments to the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintain sterility and proper instrument counts.
• Document procedures and maintain records.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists.
• Assist in prepping the surgical site and managing drains.
• Support post-procedure readiness and turnover.
