Job summary

Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress is seeking an Endoscopy Scope Washer to support sterile processing. You will maintain surgical instruments and prepare supplies for procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience; Sterile Process Certification is preferred. The schedule is weekdays only with possible early mornings or late evenings based on surgical flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience required.
• Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Familiarity with operating room instrumentation and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Endoscopy Scope Washer

Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress is hiring an Endoscopy Scope Washer.

Welcome to Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress.

We have 1 operating room and 3 procedure rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in gastroenterology. The position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule is subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

The Endoscopy Scope Washer maintains and cares for all surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1‑2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
