Job summary

Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Cypress in Cypress, TX is seeking an Endoscopy Scope Washer to maintain and care for surgical instruments and prepare supplies for procedures. The role requires weekdays only with possible early mornings or late evenings based on surgical schedules.

Minimum 1–2 years in Sterile Processing and a high school diploma are required; certification is preferred. This position offers comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to work in a busy GI endoscopy setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

Responsibilities

• The Endoscopy Scope Washer maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
