UNC Health Appalachian is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN Team Leader in Boone, NC to provide clinical leadership and daily oversight of the Endoscopy Department. You will lead staffing, scheduling, and workflow to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care, while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced procedural setting.

This role requires RN licensure in NC, BLS, ACLS, and at least two years in an acute care or procedural area, with leadership

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required at the time of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Leadership or similar role experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and coordination of Endoscopy Department operations.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling, and workflow management to support efficient patient care.
• Promote a patient care environment that is safe, effective, timely, equitable, and patient-centered.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational challenges and collaborate with leadership to improve departmental processes.
• Support compliance with UNC Health Appalachian policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
