Job summary

Geisinger in Danville, PA, is seeking an experienced RN to join our Endoscopy Department. You will work on a range of procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, bronchoscopy, and ERCP, in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

The role is full-time with 10-hour shifts. Active RN license and at least 1 year of RN experience required; endoscopy experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Experience in pre- or post-procedural care is a plus, but not required—we’ll support your development!

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during GI endoscopic procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and conscious sedation.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery.
• Lead and support other clinic nurses and technicians.
• Maintain and inspect medical equipment and supplies.
