Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an RN for its Endoscopy Department in Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting during GI procedures, administering medications and IV therapy, and monitoring patients through and after procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Pennsylvania)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Experience in pre- or post-procedural care is a plus, but not required—will support development

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during GI endoscopic procedures
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and conscious sedation
• Monitor patients during and after procedures
• Collect and prepare lab specimens
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
• Lead and support other clinic nurses and technicians
• Maintain and inspect medical equipment and supplies
