Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks an experienced RN for peri-procedural care in GI Endoscopy and Pulmonary procedures. You will coordinate care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases, assist with endoscopy procedures, and administer sedation under physician direction.

Requirements include an active MI RN license, ACLS, and 2 years in related specialties. This position offers hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice nursing in Michigan.
• Minimum two years of RN experience in specified specialties in the past five years.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Experience with Epic or similar EHR documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage multiple interventions simultaneously.
• Provide nursing care during GI Endoscopy or Pulmonary procedures.
• Coordinate care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
• Assist with endo tech role and room turnover per infection policy.
• Administer sedation/analgesia under physician direction.
• Monitor hemodynamics during sedation and post-procedure.
