Job summary

North Houston Endoscopy & Surgery is accepting applications for a PRN Endoscopy RN to provide circulating nursing care during outpatient GI procedures. The role includes patient positioning, prepping, and circulating the case across four OR rooms, with schedule adjustments based on daily surgical flow.

The position requires weekday work only, with some early mornings and later evenings; no holidays, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgery cases as the circulating RN
• Position the patient and prep the patient for procedures
• Circulate the case and assist the team during endoscopy procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure efficient flow of the day

Welcome to North Houston Endoscopy & Surgery

We have 4 OR rooms and 2 treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Colorectal, GI, Pain Management.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.

Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Endoscopy RN at North Houston Endoscopy & Surgery

The Endoscopy RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable.
