Job summary

Mercy in the United States is seeking nurses to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments. You will be accountable for the care of assigned patients and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

The role requires RN licensure in the hiring state or compact, nursing education from ADN/ Diploma/ BSN, and BLS with possible advanced certifications.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required: current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
